Allie Greene

Allie Greene, LSW, RSME/T, 500 RYT, NCPT is a somatic movement educator and therapist who brings over two decades of embodied, trauma informed practice to her work at My Wellness Center and her studio, Soma Movement in Pittsburgh, PA. She offers somatically oriented psychotherapy including EMDR and also provides somatic movement sessions that integrate somatic yoga/pilates, developmental movement patterning, and embodied anatomy to help people reconnect with their bodies in supportive, meaningful ways.

Rooted in a social justice lens, Allie recognizes that our bodies carry both personal history and the imprint of larger systems that shape safety, identity, and access to well-being. She believes healing and growth is less about fixing what’s “wrong” and more about understanding the patterns that once protected us but may hold us back now.

Across all her work, Allie supports people in reconnecting with choice, dignity, curiosity, and the possibility of a more grounded, liberated, and resilient way of being.

Misty Lynne Cauthen

Misty Lynne: I was born to slay dragons, which is a complicated career path, because there aren’t any around these days…Instead, for the past 24 years I’ve directed my energies toward educating people of all ages and stages about the power of movement to strengthen, balance, and heal their bodies. As a Balanced Body Principal Educator since 2008, I’ve trained the next generations of teachers to share their gifts with students so they can thrive in their best bodies and minds. As a business coach, I’ve helped movement teachers and studio owners alike slay the dragons that inhibit their success.

My goal as a teacher and mentor is to always lead my students and clients to the joy of movement through grace, humor, honesty, and the right kind of hard work. And I love telling people what to do, so that’s a bonus. There is nothing more exciting to me than seeing the “aha” happen in real time - when the body and mind come together to make magic.
